Apr 25, 2017 - This isn't related to SSL but to Java's JAR file signatures, the JAR files downloaded for Jviewer from the iDRAC are not signed in a way still.
I have a ThinkServer TD350. I'm trying to launch the remote TSM KVM console. I have the latest Java 8 update 144. Even though I've added the server's IP address to Java's list of security exceptions (which has always worked for me before), Java reports a security error and says it's unable to launch the application so I can launch the remote console.
Specifically, 'Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system. The following resource is signed with a weak signature algorithm MD5withRSA and is treated as unsigned.' Again, I already added the server's IP address to Java's security exceptions list, but it still won't launch.
I was finally able to launch the remote console by downgrading Java down to version 7, but that's hardly a good solution either. I have other servers that provide a standard HTML 5-based remote viewer instead of Java, but I don't see that option here. How do I fix? I take it that means there aren't any plans for an HTML-based remote console for the TD350. Back to my problem, if I downgrade Java 8u144 back to Java8u121, the remote console launches just fine. So it seems to be an issue with the more recent releases of Java. The server's TSM IP address is already in Java's Exception Site list.
Also, clearing IE's cache and Java's cache didn't work. Java 8u144 still reports 'Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system. The following resource is signed with a weak signature algorithm MD5withRSA and is treated as unsigned.
